How NAIA Differs From NCAA

NAIA schools set their own recruiting contact rules rather than following the NCAA calendar, which often allows more direct and earlier contact between coaches and recruits.

Scholarships

Athletic scholarships are permitted and often combined with academic and need-based aid, similar to Division II.

Who NAIA Fits

NAIA programs range widely in competitive level. Some NAIA programs are highly competitive with strong regional reputations, making an honest evaluation of fit especially important.
